Truck Hits 280,000 95 FORD F150

My 95 truck hit 280,000kms on the original 300 motor, and transmission, its a E40D/C6 SETUP, It it running like new, it seems to shift like a grind noise when its cold, but runs fine really, when it wants to it shift and you dont even feel it....its a all day work truck, been hauling since it was in 95, bought it from Orillia, Ontario runs like new tranny fluids been done before....its a 4x4, the 4x4 is original as i can see to, the 4x4 works like a champ, clacks a bit, but runs like a tank, shifts are usually good and the inter graded power take off works great to, plan to drive this truck with no problems and get 350,000-450,000 out of it before I park it. and get another truck, its going to be hard to replace this one, thanks for the comments!!!

4.9's are bulletproof and will run forever. Which tranny is it? E4OD and C6 are 2 different tranny's!

'95 F150 with a 300 in it? I'd be disappointed if it didn't get 400,000 km, not proud if it did Cheers and good to hear! LR

Didn't realize that you were asking a question, sounded more like bragging.. Tranny could be worn, don't know - I'm not an auto guy. 300k on a Ford tranny, now thats a different story, hopefully it doesn't need a rebuild cause that sounds internal. LR
