wiring problem

sorry for makin you guys read this but, im puttin in a one wire alternator in the truck, i put the green and yellow wire togther, with the voltage wire for the dummy light on the positive post of the starter solenoid, and got rid of the voltage regulator, and put everything back togther..

#2 i installed a msd box with a billit distributor, i left the dura junk hucked up and the instructions said to use the red 12v switched ing wire witch is the coil + wire for the dura junk. so i did all that, now im getting a pos feed back threw the coil with the key off and im not gettin the s terminal on the starter solenoid to work... and yes the solenoid does work. i tested it.

i know this is a lil crazy and maby hard to understand but im a few beers in and its a lil late..... just wanna get the dam thing started..lol

thank you.

Can you post a simple diagram of what you've got now?

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.
