Engine swap

Hi, this my first post. I have a 94 F150 with a 4.9L and I have a 91 F150 with a 5.0L. Is it difficult to put 5.0 in the 94. I know it will fit but my question concerns more to the wiring part. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hey Jim I think your words of wisdom is needed here, as you have done some awesome work on your truck, and I know first hand you helped me with a tranny problem I had. Thanks again for that help.

No problem Grant. For me this swap was a complete PITA cause I couldn't get any help on the issues I was having. Now with all the parts I could do it in a weekend easily cause I know everything you'll run into and need. My advice is that unless you're planning on racing your truck like I do don't do the swap

+1

You already have a great engine. Lots of torque, fuel efficient, good longevity and very smooth running. As for help, nobody asked me.

Hey sorry for not getting back sooner, been busy. Thanks for the advice! I decided to use the 4.9 for now anyway but I think I may change it to a 4x4. I understand from reading other posts that this is mostly bolt on. but once again thanks!
