New Project Truck

Just left a deposit on this today and picking her up Friday

I've got a 429 and a C-6 waiting in the garage for it.
It's a 63 unibody short box, does anybody know much about these ?

Not sure what kind of numbers the 429 will have yet.
It's a stock 68 T-bird motor, I think it's factory rated at the 360-380 hp range
It won't be stock though when it get's dropped in. LOL
Not really sure what I'm going to do with it, I wasn't planning on starting another
project but ran across this and couldn't resist.

make sure you build her strong. Unibody's and high horsepower can be a bad combo

The truck has a full frame like any other truck, they just call it a unibody because
the the cab and box are all one.
The truck comes with the frame and all parts, seller tells me everything is there except a
front bumper. Even comes with a 292 and tranny.

thought so but wasn't sure when I didn't see a frame, is it a c-channel frame or boxed?

Not sure but it will probably be both to some degree.
Thinking of tubbing it ,just not sure how much tire I want to stick under it.
Don't need an 8 second truck ,11's or 12's would be cool and very streetable
I'm sure my plans will change a few times ,haven't even got it home yet

As Jim said big hp even with a full frame can twist, if I were you I'd box most of the frame and weld all cross members, be easier to do it now than after you twist it up. Keep us posted on how you make out and yeah more pictures, how about 1 of the motor
