truck would not start..

I have a 2007 Ford Ranger, i was out driving shut it off, went to start it and heard a click and it ddint even turn over...
tried to start it again.. the fuse box on the passenger side in the truck cab was making a clicking sound..
When i turn the key over my gas gauge goes up the back down same with the temp gauge.
So i jumped it started up.. got it home put the windows up and and was making a wining sound
Went back out to get some stuff out of the truck and it was making the clicking sound with the key not even in the ignition.. so i wiggled the ignition and it stopped
Any one have any idea what is wrong with it?

Definitely clean those terminals. Is the battery on its way out? You said that the ignition was clicking on its own? My dads escort did something really similar and it turned out to be a bad ignition switch.
