My truck is broken

Hey guys
well I thought I'd post a small problem I found with my truck that I'm waiting for the dealer to let me know when they are going to fix it..
the rail protectors that are on my truck just popped ( about half way down just above the wheel wells and runs about two feet long) the glue that was used didn't just let go but it is taking the paint with it and the dealer have never seen this before...
any of you ?
anyways hopefully things will be fixed soon.
Glenn.

Defect

I do not know if this is what you are talking about but take a look at the pictures below.
My truck is a 2009 got it new in Sept 2009.
Finally washed it in the summer of 2010 and came across this.
My dealer told me I had to do this myself, really do not know how this came about.
I know it is a defect but it's hard to prove because I never saw this before summer of 2010.
Hope you have better luck than I did with your dealer.
