Garage
+1 for Rust Check, and Krown prior to that.

I always figured it was a smart move for what it costs you per year.

Getting your Ranger done right from the start will give you maximum protection right from the word 'go'.

I get my Ranger oil sprayed each year. With the salt on the roads in Ontario, rust protection is pretty important.

As well, when the vehicle was weeks old I installed one of those anti-corrosion thingys that hooks up to your batter and runs an electric pulse through the vehicle similar to how they rust protect ships. I've heard mixed reviews on those. A buddy of mine swears by them. Others say that they work on ships OK because ships sit in salt water. They don't work on cars however.

In any event, givemn the cost of the vehicle, rust protection in any form is cheap maintenance.

BTB Welcome aboard new ford rangerowner. Except from the odd smartass you'll get good advice here.

Cheers!

Good on ya. You won't find too many places in Alberta that do rust proofing due to the fact this province doesn't use too much salt combined with the higher temps they have back east. I notice they are using more salt this year though.

Such is life. Just passing through.
