Winter's coming.... =)

Sorry guys, I know it's only August, but it's never too early to PLASTIDIP rusty chrome winter rims. It only took about one and half cans, so I have some left for touch up. I am liking the look. Thanks to all who have posted their Plastidip projects giving me the idea.

Ease of removal if I didn't like it.

For me it was a question of if I would like black wheels compared to chrome (with some rust) or some other type of winter rims.

One bonus is the texture. It's not a smooth finish. Kind of looks like spray on bedliner (which might be a better option next time...lol)

Also, good luck getting paint to stick to chrome.

Where'd you buy the plastidip spray cans?

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

My local Home Hardware store. They stock a few colors both in spray and dip cans.

BOOOOOOOOOOOO.....should be a one week mandatory ban for mentioning "winter" in August. lol

Jeez, could of at least called the thread "Plastidipped my winter rims" and softened the blow a little.

Looks great, nice job.

Not sure what paint you use but I never have a problem getting paint to stick to chrome.
