2010 Ranger Wheels

anyone know if any other vehicles use the same wheels that can fit on a 2010 Ranger 2wd?

From what I understand, due to the change from drums to discs in the rear, the older Ranger wheels won't fit the 2010s.

I'm looking for a set on the cheap for my Dad for winter. I've been browsing Kijiji but don't really know what will work without trying each one on.

thanks!

The 5 x 4.5" (5 x 114.3mm) bolt pattern is common to a lot of vehicles, from Fords, Jeeps (Wranglers), Mazda, and some Dodges. The offset for 4wd and 2wd Rangers has been listed as Medium Offset for years, including 2010.

This list shows the last 5 years of Ford's patterns.

I had 2006 rims on my 2008 Ranger, and just sold them last month to a guy with a 2009.

thanks for your response.

I've ruled out oem rims of a 98 4x4 - the center hole is about 1/8" too small

the search continues

If I remember correctly when I was looking at rims awhile back the jeep ones may be the same bolt pattern but the center hole is to small for the hubs. (Oem jeep rims aftermarket are usually large enough)

Yesterday I tried a 16" rim from a Windstar. Didn't fit my 2010 Ranger 2wd.

Cheers!

Just remembered a buddy had 16" crown Vic wheels on his 93 ranger and they fit. Not sure about on newer rangers.

I was told the older rims won't fit over the rear calipers on the 2010. At lest that's waht the dealer told me when I bought my truck. I had 15" rims from an Explorer that fit my 95 that I wanted to use for winter tires. The dealer said no go. Never tried them myself, got the truck in Feb and it was too cold to see if they fit.

I converted my '09 4WD from factory 16s to aftermarket 15s and can honestly say the front calipers are a tight fit. I had a look at a '10 with the rear calipers and the rims appear to have a unique shape in order to clear the calliper - could be a tough find.

Have you tried sourcing a steel wheel?

Probably the best outcome to use like for like wheels from another '10. Good score.
