Wheels and tires

Hi All, I'm new to this site and new to trucks, i am looking for some opinions here. i have just got my self a 2008 Ranger XLT 4x4 6 cylinder 4.0L, i plan on putting a 3" body lift on it this summer and i really don't know what size of wheels and tires to put on it. I also want a wider stance on it. Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks.

I think one of the Ranger specific forums (The Ranger Station) had a good sticky on tire fitment. If i remember correctly...33x12.5 should work with your lift. But check out some fitment guides to be sure. Lets us know how you make out.

I found it but just realized that they don't list anything newer than 2007. If you were to go with a wheel with a 3.5-3.75" backspace and 15x8 or 15x10 wheel. I'm 99% sure 33's would clear with the body lift. The 15x8's will be better for airing down off-road without the risk of popping a bead. The 15x10's will make it a little nicer ride on the street and add some stance to it by putting an extra 2" outside of the fender over the 8" wide rims

Also check out 4wheelparts. (Formerly National 4wd). I just picked up a 3" body lift for a Bronco II for $150 with taxes. They seem to be the cheapest place around.
