Domelight Mod

I installed a domelight from a taurus wagon into my 01 ranger today. It was a simple job unscrew the old domelight and screw in the new one making sure to hit both contacts and the ground I now have a domelight which I put a blue bulb in and the map lights which i left white. I'll get some pics up as soon as i can.

That;s a cool find, something for me to consider if I ever come across one of those lights..

I only drive in the city, to get out of it!!!

Superduty & Explorer dome lights work to. In the 04+ rangers you need to run a wire for the map lights.

Yep He's right the 01 - 03 is just plug and play. Some F-150 llights are supposed to work as well.

Here's a pic of the finished product. The blue light works nice for the dome light. Because my truck is a regular cab the map lights aren't aimed perfect, they shine more on the steering wheel than down on your lap but over all I'm happy with the results.
