Need advice

Hi, I'm a new member here,

I'm looking for some advice on few things with regards to caps: durability and dealer reviews in Toronto area. I need to carry my tools around and I want the most dependable hard cap (2 of my buddies got their stuff stolen from their trucks) that's also durable enough to have removable roof rack for some 22' ladders. Also, I looked around on the net for different manufacturers to narrow down my choices, but there is little info on dealers in Toronto area (good customer service if hard to find).
I keep hearing good things about Leer and A.R.E., but no so good about Hawk.

Any ideas?

The one on my truck is an ARE, I didn't buy it new. It looks great and keeps my stuff dry.

I have two of the ARE contactor caps I bought new and was happy with them untill this
week when the shelves fell into the bed of the truck. Had 70 pounds in the rear
passenger side compartment. I bought them with ladder racks on them and I'm happy
with the racks.
The best price I found was through Action Van and Truck who I believe are an S.V. here
Had a hawk cap once it sucked

There is a place in Peterborough you should call, they typically have good prices and I also believe they offer their own brand caps/tonneaus. I have been told by many the prices are very fair.
Check it out

It's all about the boost!

Thanks for all the responses.
I got used Leer 100XQ with solid glass side windows and remote key for the back window. Matches the color of the truck perfectly and it came with Thule rack as well Had to go all the way to Elora to get it and the price was right too: $1000.
