Vibration and Rumble 2009

First, I want to say hello to all.
I have a new 2009 ranger. 2700 km on it.
First I have a constant steering wheel vibration. I drive from northern NB to Dartmouth NS alot so vibrations is not too pleasant for me on the hightway, in the city I don't feel it that much. Got my tires balanced in Bathurst NB, did not help.
Secondly I have a rumble coming from the exhaust, you can feel the vibration through the floor it feels like I have a thrush muffler when the truck has a load on it. You can't hear it when the truck is cold only after it's warmed up. I brought it to the attention of my dealer here in Dartmouth they said all Ranger have this vibration and rumble ?? I think a new truck is not suppose to respond this way. Other then that I love my truck it has V6 2x4 sport, 5 spd auto, 3.55 limited slip, cruise, tilt, air, I just wish this 2 things would go away.
I am asking all Ranger guys out there is this normal?

Send a message via MSN to Viper238
call a 2nd dealer.. get a 2nd opinion.

shouldn't be like that.
I'd take it back
pretty sure you can return it within 3000kms.

or atleast bring that to their attention that it might be something you might be thinking of doing if this is how they are..

My 2009 has 35,000 on it. Drove to Alberta and Back to Ontario and have had no vibrations at all. Def get a 2nd opinion from a separate dealer.

Also agree, it definitely shouldn't do that.
Your dealer shouldn't be giving you the brush-off like that. That's bullshit.
Sometimes you have to make a huge stink before they put things right.

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

there is a tsb for a drone/vibration in cab,but it's on the 2.3l a/t rangers, could be the exhaust "grounding"against the under body/frame,as for the vibration at highway speed sounds like a classic tire balance issue, when you take it back to the dealer(if you don't like the way they have treated you go to different dealership)make sure they perform a road force balance of the tires(no more than 26 lbs road force is prefered) p.s welcome to!

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.
