what size Winter tires

What size winter tires would you guys suggest putting on a stock 2009 4x4 ranger sport? Right now i'm sporting the 255/70/16's.

Thanks!

A suggestion: If you plan on using winter rims (and you should) try to get a skinnier version than stock, then get as tall and skinny tire as you can fit on your truck. Any good tire shop should be able to help determine what will fit.

Do to finances i'll probably have to use stock rims this year. Would 245/70R16 fit on these rims without issue? Or would i be better off going up 265/70R16?

try and get a winter tire with the same overall height as to not throw off your speedo calibration as a lot of systems on the truck use this info.

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

The difference between 245/70/16 and 25570/16 would be negligable though correct?

I was just talking to a buddy that works at the Ford dealer. I ordered a set of winters for my dads RAV4. I had to change tire size to get a studable tire. The new size is 1.75% difference. Buddy told me "Have to stay below 3.0% difference because of ABS issues".
