Starting up

I'm just wondering if anybody noticed that when the truck is parked nose down on an incline, it's harder to start. Mine seems not to like that and seems to take longer to fire up.
I wonder why?

It's because the current from your battery has a harder time going uphill to your starter motor.

But seriously, I haven't noticed this. I have noticed something else which I don't know if it may be related? Very rarely, just soon after I start up, if I accidentally stall the motor, say if my foot slips off the clutch, or if I'm trying to get unstuck from something, it takes several attempts to restart the engine. Am I flooding it somehow? Is that even possible with electronic fuel injection? It doesn't have a problem restarting right away if the engine is warm, though. Also it only happens if I stall the engine, not if I shut it off on purpose and then restart it.

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

I wonder if it is the location of the fuel pump. Maybe it takes more effort to draw the fuel in.
