Sounds like a decent price. When you consider that Rangers cost about the same as they did a few years ago, plus they've added stuff like traction control and side airbags, that's not bad at all. While those things don't mean much to me, they probably increase the vehicle's resale value in the long run.
Compared to similar trucks from other manufacturers, for the money, it's a no-brainer. The others don't even come close for the price.
As you mentioned, the small size can be a drawback, as well as the fuel mileage. But unless they've got some really crazy deals on F-150s, you really can't go too far wrong with a Ranger.
If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.
