Doesn't sound too bad to me. What options are in it? LR

Options are stated in the OP's post....FX4 package (power equipment group, cloth bucket seats, cruise/tilt, privacy glass, black side step bars,) $2500 and auto trans $1400 assuming 2010 and 2011 prices are the same.

2010 Employee Pricing for FX4 and auto was $22,433 before taxes and fees (MSRP minus price adjustments).

Bonus for 2011 is the limited slip with the FX4 package. Limited slip was not available with the 2010.

thanks for the replies. would pay cash. this is with the 6000 delivery incentive and they also have $1000 in "free" ford accessories so technically 24,500 if i load up on those.

not sure yet, it's a little small and the F150's a bit big haha. gonna take for a longer drive on Saturday

Sounds like a decent price. When you consider that Rangers cost about the same as they did a few years ago, plus they've added stuff like traction control and side airbags, that's not bad at all. While those things don't mean much to me, they probably increase the vehicle's resale value in the long run.

Compared to similar trucks from other manufacturers, for the money, it's a no-brainer. The others don't even come close for the price.

As you mentioned, the small size can be a drawback, as well as the fuel mileage. But unless they've got some really crazy deals on F-150s, you really can't go too far wrong with a Ranger.

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

I just bought a 2011 Ranger FX4 exactly like you're describing in the Vancouver, B.C. area 3 weeks ago and I paid $23,579. This is of course the pre tax amount with the $6000 factory to dealer cash rebate applied. There was an additional $1000 rebate available if you had an old vehicle to trade in through the Ford Recyle your Ride program and a $300 cash back from the BC Junk It program. If you had a Cosco membership there was an additional rebate of $1000 if memory serves. I wasn't a member, unfortunatley, so I didn't pay a lot of attention. They threw in a wheel lock kit and 4 floor mats for free. Big deal! Cash incentives come and go so you'd have to see what's available in your area. In my opinion Ford had some of the best cash incentives going at the time.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that that price included the bright trim group package and the body colored bodyside mouldings which were in addition to the FX4 package. I originally wanted to buy an 2011, 5.0l - F150 but it was to long to fit in my garage. Major disappointment, as that coyote engine really hauled and supossidly got better gas mailage than the Ranger!! Go figure??
