Question headers ?

HI there, i have recently developed and exhaust leak on my right side manifold on my 2006 f-150 5.4L. looking at getting some shorty headers. A little worried about reliabilty tho. does anyone have them, how long have you had them and any problems with them? Thanks dudes

it ran a 15.8 stock back when it was on the road, it now has kooks longtubes on it its a little charbroiled right now but plan to run it when its back out on the road.

a few companies now make them back when I bought this exhaust set up not many manufacturers were. theres kooks, jbl used to make them they made both longs and shorts.

one good thing with shorties is generaly no exhaust change is needed with longtubes things need to change.

Dynatech makes a nice set for the 5.4 and OBX makes a knock off set of the Dynatech

there are tons of lightnings. including myself running the obx headers and are very satisfied. they are a few hundred cheaper then any other longtube. and they add performacne instead of just sound like a shorty will add.

here is a link to the 04-08 headers.

4wd Model

I've got a set of JBA Stainless shorties http://products.jbaheaders.com/detai...V.asp?id=1676S
when I replaced my warped manifold, no overwhelming performance gains, maybe more in the acceleration gains in the top end, I was hoping for a little more in bottom end.
No issues to date, these have been on since Jan or Feb.
You can find online for around $400.00 or less, over the stock manifold and a couple of bills I would recommmend

<<<I started with nothing... and luckily I think I still have most of it left>>>
