Question Cat back system

I am considering a cat back dual axhaust sytem for my 07 F150. First is it worth the expense. I want something that I can still enjoy conversation in the cab so relatively quiet. Iam not a mechanic so installation must be done by a shop. Any sugesstions on system that are available in Lethbridge AB or north to Calgary maybe south to Greatfalls Montana tho I bprefer to stay loca and Canadian Thanks

Just go to any muffler/exhaust shop and tell them what you are looking for and what you are willing to pay. I had two of my trucks done at Integra Tire formerly known as Tirecraft when I lived in Ponoka, totally custom systems and I paid around $400 both times. That included:

- Removing the stock exhaust just after the "Y" pipe
- New muffler with a single inlet/dual outlet
- New 2.5" pipes bent and hung to where I wanted it.
- 2 Exhaust tips

In my opinion its a better route then a catback off the internet for say $600 and its all installed as well as welded as opposed to clamped like most catbacks you can install yourself..

thanks I'll give that a try. did that give you any improvement in performance or mileage. I use the truck mainly to pull my 5th wheel, which it does quite well. Of course there is a drop in Gas but I accept that to pull a trailer.

I have a FlowMaster 50 S/I D/O ...Nice tone and you can have a conversation.
Not so aggresive as the Magna Flow Systems.

Load It Like A Railcar........................... Drive It Like A Stockcar..........................

Cat backs are more for just sound. They don't do much for mileage or performance. Have you looked into a programmer? That would do alot more than a cat back exhaust. If you want the sound, buy a muffler online and have a local shop install it in place of the stock muffler.

VMP and 5-Star tuned no more

Buy a hybrid my truck needs your gas
