Just a heads up if you run into my stereo problem as well......

On my '08 F150 the 6 disc stereo went dead also no clock. So checked the fuses under the passenger side footwell on the side wall. Found it was fuse # 31 a 20 amp fuse which wasn't burnt out, just pulled it out then when putting it back in after checking fuse it sparked and heard the disc changer going through changing the discs so has been good since. Not sure why it died out, no problems, didn't boost the truck but has been good since.
Thought I'd give you guys a heads up if it happens to you as a search on hear hasn't turned up anything before I checked for problem. Was lucky fuse wasn't blown as next day went to go check for spare fuses but none where I live as I live in the middle of nowhere. Next time I go south got to remember to pick up some spares.

My guess is that, like a lot of stuff controlled by microprocessors, your CD changer needed a 'CTRL-ALT-DEL', or a hard reset. It just locked up, for some reason. Either that, or the fuse you pulled and put back in had a dirty connection?

I used to have an old Blaupunkt cassette deck(!) that would stop working and have a garbled LCD display, usually after disconnecting the battery, or getting a jump start. I finally figured out the only way to reset it, was to physically pull the deck, unplug it, and short the +V and GND wires of the deck together for about 5 minutes, then reinstall it.

I've also got a DVD player that will occasionally lock up, and I have disconnect the power cord for about 30 seconds to get it working again. That's the modern world we live in!

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

The fuse was clean and the connection was snug so I guess it just needed a "control-alt-delete" also. I have a dvd player also that needs the same thing unplug for a few seconds. All in all the stereo is all good now no problems but only been a few days so hope it stays that way.

Now for some reason my left turn signal blinks really fast and the right is how it always has. Annoying to have them both different. Wonder how that can be fixed.

You'll probably need to replace a flasher relay for about 30 bucks.

I've never done it before and it's odd to me that it's only affecting one flasher.

do a quick google search to find the location - I think it's under the radio somewhere
