HIDs

What's everyone running for HID's in their trucks? I want them for headlights and fogs. Does a H13 kit work hi/low or do you need bi-xenon?

i dont know about your model. but i have an 02
hid headlights 4500k basically the brightest.
hid Foglights. 6000k more blue but it was the lowest kelvin they had.

Just figure out what bulb size you have now and buy the hids to replace them.

also dont buy locally you will get ripped off. 50$ each online easy.

i wouldnt get anything over 6000k look to ricey when it gets super blue/pink and they higher the K the less light output you actually get.

Headlights

Headlights and Fogs.

Really? Its the Internet take it easy.

Yeah I have an 06, and the headlight is a single H13 bulb so I wasn't sure if that will be hi/low or would I need bi-xenon for hi/low. I was thinking 6000k for headlights and 8000 or 6000 for fogs for a good look?

You need the bi-xenon if you have a single H13 bulb in order to have hi/lo beam. There is actually only one filament in a bi-xenon bulb. In order to get brights, the bulb is moved mechanically to simulate hi beams.

2001 F350 CC SWB 6spd....currently getting a complete 'makeover'. Stay tuned.

I'm running a set of the 8000k H.I.Ds in my heads and I love them, only problem I have came across is because my truck doesn't have fog lights the fog lights on my bull bar are useless as my h.i.d's over power them. I have a video on my thread of my h.i.d's at night with the truck parked
