Biggest Tires?

Well Im starting to think about getting some bigger rims and new tires for the spring. Ive already pretty much decided on the rims i want. Im looking at getting a set of KMC Rockstars in the black finish. Most likely going to go with 20's. But im curious what i can fit for tires. I currently have 35X12.5X18's on the stock 18" rims and only a 2" leveling kit in the front. So im curious what the biggest combo i could get for 20's would be without putting on a lift.

you must not wheel it? ive got a 6" lift and 35's and rub when flexing and turning....

if you do any gravel/ offroad... stay with the 18".. it wiull allow you too air down.. which means more control, traction and smoother ride... a 35"x 18" tires shpould be brouhgt down too 16 psi..

aw 35x12.5 x 20 ????????? you need atleast 4" - 6 " lift bite the bullet and get R done as Well I would recomend staying away from KMC rock stars theres bin cases of the rims breaking and warranty issues other words i herd they suck be WARE :icon_wink:

Its not that im completely opposed to the lift. But its just not really in the budget right now. And to stay with 18's I would need the lift to run the same tires as i do now. I dont really do much wheelin but ive hit a few good sized mud puddles and taken a few shortcuts and never had problems running these tires. I only get a bit of rubbing if im turning at full lock.

I assume your tires are BFG's, those are the only 12.5 35's I know of. I dont think they make them in a 20 and you'll find everything else , Toyo, Procomp, Mickey Thompson are all at least 13.5 wide when going 20x35. A more aggressive offset will work but then you'll need flares. To stay on a budget and get a great looking truck, try adding the Rancho Quick Lift or the Bilstein lift shocks for an extra inch with your leveling kit. Then just swap out rims with your existing tires. The Quick lift and 18" rims is about the same cost as just 20's and you wont have to shell for new rubber. You'll need to add a bigger block in the back to stay level. Just a thought
