Why would you want to do that? You'd have to do it with a chip or programmer

i have a bully dog gt but i cant change idle on it. can do anything but that. id like 1000-1100 rpm for those -30 day when you have the quick couplers hoocked up warming up equipment. or if you have boosters hoocked up or just when its staight up cold out i know when its -30 it doesn't stay at running temp even with a grille guard. i wasnt sure if there was a way to override the cruise or another method

You can do it with an Edge but the maximum it will let you do is 850rpm when warm.

As for overriding the cruise, my friend did that with his Chevy Duramax, but he owns tuning software and needed that to do it.

soo after taking a closer look my plan is to wire a reostat with a switch. the throttle on the truck is the same a 3 wire. im gonna check the ohms today and order one. very simple set up. and i should beable to set rpm from stock to wide open. even tho its not needed to go that high. ill see how i make out. or if anyone has any suggestions.

http://www.angelfire.com/mi3/servo/idle/aidle.html so here is a idle controller i found they say its for the diesel but its the same idea. bypassing the signal from the pedal and revving the truck up. Im not paying 170$ for 6 wires $5.00 a switch $1.50 and a rhaostat $11 ... does anyone know where i can get the wiring diagram for the pedal? so i can see what wires i need.
