Cap doesn't help but a hard tonneau does improve mileage / aerodynamics.

Buying a used Focus definiitely improved my gas mileage.

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

2005 F150 FX4, my last tank was 13.8L/100km which is roughly 20mpg. Almost all my driving is close to highway speed which helps ALOT.

Truck has 122,000km on it. I run 285/65/18 BFG AT KO's, FloPro V-Force Muffler, GOTTS intake mod and I run an Edge Evo on level 2 with the only custom setting being for the oversize tires.

Best thing I ever did for fuel mileage was install a ScanGauge II... when you have all the data you can figure out what works best for mileage in your truck. Plus it's fun to try to improve.

I think the only way I'm going to get good mileage, is to cut off my right foot .
