Broken leaf spring

So I took the wheel off to free up a seized parking brake and I find this:

So the question, Besides the dealer or a scrap yard where in the Hamilton area could I get leaf springs?

You too eh?
I had these guys fix me up... http://www.yellowpages.ca/bus/Ontari...n/7085692.html
I just had them fab up a matching pair (L&R side) of just the one leaf that had broken, so that both sides would remain level with the proper spring arc and spring rates.
You'll be looking at around $300 all in.

A complete spring set (pair) from Ford will set you back major money, not including labour.

Hamilton... where all good vehicle suspensions go to die...

Press on regardless!

Hey Alpine that sucks on the broken spring, but I would deff have 2 new springs made of the 1 thats broke so you replace the other side to keep the truck level, keep us posted on how you make out

I myself am wreckers kinda a guy. Sometimes there will be a nice low mile gem out there, or a well taken care of truck that had a misfortune.
Always worth the shot?!
Even seen some on KIJIJI.
If you can save a buck, why spend more if you don't have too. Not all used parts are bad. Look the parts over carefully, it's in your control.

Dropped into Kenilworth on the way home from work today. They took me right in, replaced the middle leafs so I'm good to go. I figure the time I would have taken sourcing springs at the scrap yard then installing them I came out ahead.
Thanks for your help guys.
Now, before I take the trailer out I have to decide between helper springs or airbags. Decisions, decisions.....

So you did both sides?

how much did it run you?

I think I would do an airbag assist.

Being you had the truck in getting the spring fixed you should have had them toss in 2 more springs on each side being they had it apart anyways just my thought
