Thumbs down Rear-Ended This Morning

The pic's speak for themselves. I was heading East Richmond Rd SW stopping for a light between the north and southbound lanes of Sarcee Trail and a young girl in a 92 GMC changed lanes right into the back of me.

Needless to say I'm none too please. First estimate I have came in @ $4429 for a new bumper, tailgate, and all the supporting goodies and body work and paint on the box side. The tailgate is hard to see but there's about half a dozen dents in it and some good scrapes. Some how the taillight survived.

It was a hard hit. This is what happened to the GMC. BUILT FORD TOUGH is all I can say.

When my truck got hit last year at the local en-route the 19 yr old girl driving her mom's escape just kept driving after she made contact with my truck needless to say from her front bumper to the rear bumper was toast I did post pics of said crunch job in my thread awhile ago no I didn't get pics of her suv, it's funny how these new trucks can take a hit with min damage both the other car/truck/suv take all the damage LOL

It's good to know they can take it, and will have little repairs..... unless it was something more serious though.

Wow that is pretty incredible. If you had posted the Chevy first I would have thought your truck box would be up hear the cab somewhere. Pretty minimal damage comparatively speaking. How you don't have any residual soft tissue issues. Sometimes they take a couple of days to show up.
