Not really asking much of my truck, in the fact that for now , I just want to perform as well (or better) as say the little Nissan rental car did on the highway, that I had my hands on last week.

Is that too much to ask?
Anyways... we'll see what happens with my drive shaft issues etc. later on this week.
It's not much to ask for at all!! It's your ride...... But i do find that there are a certain kind of people that are out there that look for the little things, and just could never be happy. Not saying this is your case though.

Could you imagine if most of us actually used our trucks like they were ment for like the old days, heck we would have a heart attack LOL! I know what my pops put his F series threw, i mean pure , hardcore construstion use for a longer duration then most would own theirs for (reason i am a Ford F series fan), those of you would die just the site of what i saw him put them threw..... and he has never claimed, or needed any warranty work on any of them thus far, but yet the guys that pamper, and use them to get groceries freak out to what ever the issue is, and run to the dealership.

My covered truck box is always full of equipment, and (was) in use everyday.
I do try and keep it clean, but its no trailer queen shall we say.

All of my vehicles are modded to some degree, until they are at the performance levels that I'm happy with.

Press on regardless!

Nothing wrong with owning a driveway queen, as long as you're man enough to admit it.

If you'll excuse me, I need to go polish the royal jewels.

LMFAO Jay, you nailed it

Wasn't stating anything towards you, just generalizing. LOL

I'll admit that i don't use mine for hard heavy work, just hauling the family, and to use for yard duties.

If you don't want people to comment on your threads, maybe you shouldn't be posting your problems on an open, internet forum.

You post it up, it's open for comment, whether they're helpful or not so helpful, you offered the info.

Not trying to gang up here.

Some of the ways you word sentences and your describe your issues, blaming everything on ford, (On a FORD forum with guys that bleed blue) will put them on edge and in defensive mode.

Some of the ways your sentences are coming across is "fords engineers suck, I need to make it better, because my way won't wear out".

This forum is everything flys sorta thing.
We appreciate the info, but the way everything is "Fords fault due to kids they have working their as engineers" isn't flying anymore.
