Came across a deal I couldn't pass up.
2008 FX2 with 83k.
Great shape, undercarriage clean, doors clean, Retrax tonneau cover, new tires and brakes.

The front metal bumper and back bumper shows signs of rust, same with the painted nerf bars. Fenders have paint flake, getting them resprayed along with bumpers. No big deal.
Picking up the nerf bars from powdercoating today, getting them done in semi-gloss black.

Waiting on 2012 FX2 style red/black fender badges to arrive, then truck goes into body shop. Also picked up a set of used 2012 FX4 wheels. Love this truck.

Nice find. They are pretty scarce out this way. By the way how is the other ride coming along?

Such is life. Just passing through.

First time I saw the stock FX2 wheels, I thought someone had raided the GT500 parts bin.

Thanks guys.
Installed my weather mats today, great fit.
Also picked up the Nerf bars from powdercoating and installed them.
Also received my 09-14 Red FX2 F150 fender badges.
Waiting on the bodyshop to book me in to get the fenders and bumpers done.
Also planning on picking up an '08 Harley grille and I am calling it quits with the mods for now anyway.

As for the Lightning, it's in my garage. Have lots of bugs to sort with the turbo kit this season. We'll see what happens.
No more wife so I can do as I please !

If the /08 is going to by your daily driver (in Ontario), you need to have it oil sprayed.
The area around the fuel door, and cab corners are prone to rust. (drainage issues)

A good solid looking truck btw.

Hope you'll post a pic. or two of it, once it returns from the paint shop.

Press on regardless!

Yes the previous owner had it oiled in the past. I have pressure washed the undercarriage and will do it again next time I have access to a hoist. I'll then oil it twice before the snow falls.

I threw on an HD grille and will be getting it to paint soon, just been very busy. Have to get the Lightning going soon as well!!
Pulled it out for some sunlight.
