back from the dyno.

Dropped the truck of for a dyno tune a week ago.
after three attempts with the dyno. First failed coilpacs could not sustain the load so off the dyno and repair.
back on and the fuel pump leans out and pressure drops so off the dyno and get it repaired. Last try worked great and it's done.

The dyno is an axle dyno & reads lower than the dyna-jets. The rear wheel hp is 486.5 and 557 torque. boost was 14.7.

I'm happy with the numbers for this year. gonna go bigger next year.

Thank-x.

I have a 6# lower on at the moment. been watching nloc for an 8#, that will be all I do this year, put it on when it is hot and the tune need not be changed. I wonder what the the dyno would have been if I had an 8#. close to two more pounds of boost may have put me on the 500 hp edge.

It's a Magnum powers with a 6 # lower. Built block, crower cams, kook long tube headers and low flow cats. 60# injectors, electric fans, throttle body and upper plenum, cold air intake etc...

how do you post pictures? Seem things have changed a bit with vista the copy and post is not working for me.

I bought this truck this way. I know the mechanic that built the truck 3 years ago. I know the work is done well and at the time the guy who owned the truck spent good money on it. The magnum powers was installed about three-four months before the whipple came out. Dang missed out on that one.

How ever with the volume they have done he does not rember the finner points about the truck. I saw the rebuild under progress to see the manly solid rods going in. The shop back then tracked the invoices by the plate number so that way to find the original receipts is currently lost.
