Fix Or Repair Daily

Well took the truck in because of some small problems and noises. The truck has 54,000 kms on it and the main warranty is up at 60k so any noise is freaking me out. Anyways, i took it to the dealer for a knocking in the engine, clunk in the rear end, broken window switch(auto down function was not engaging), squeeking windows. Turns out the cam phasers are pooched, & the rear end hasn't been looked at yet but buddy thinks it needs to be "torn down" and to boot I found out it needs the latest recall aswell. oh well at least it's covered under warranty because the techie says that on my own it's about a $2500 job with parts and labour for just the cam phasers.

Got the truck back today. Semms all good so far but @ 7.5hours of labour, I'm glad it's warranty. Heres a scan of part of the work order so you can see the part numbers in case this happens to you.

Past warranty but still an issue

My brakes have been squeeking since about 30,000km....I brought the truck in and they could not find anything...I'm now past 60,000km and the squeeking has not stopped. Do you think that because it was documented on a shop visit to Ford, that they will still honor the warranty if this bloody sqeeking grinds something down? And what the F is with the excessive brake dust up front!

They may honor the waranty but after 60,000 kms you have to pay a deductable.
