Lightning, the bright stuff, not the truck

I was in Myrtle Beach last week driving back to the hotel during one of those Carolina storms when some lightning struck fairly close by, at the same time my truck felt and sounded like it was running on 4 cylinders. I was basically at the hotel so I continued, parked and took shelter from the rain. Next morning I checked the truck and all was well, idled very nicely and since then there has been no problems in fact, the truck performed very well during the trip.
I think what happened was a bit of Electro-magnetic Interference, (EMI) from the bolt of lightning that luckily only temporarily screwed up the truck's computer.
Anyone else had such an event?

I am indeed, it would have been a long walk home... at first I thought I might have popped a plug, since then I have chatted with a few guys here in Ottawa who have had similar experiences so it is definitely something to watch for when driving in severe weather.

Lucky is right.

Lightning fried my garage door opener (head unit) two weeks ago. Getting a replacement today.
