Another Day At The Dyno

Well today the shop that did my tuning held a dyno day and we got to see a bunch of nice cars with some serious power. The highest of the day was a Fox body mustang that put down 590 to the wheels on spray and boost. It sounded insane. After watching these guys all go we decided to throw big yellow on and see if there was any difference in power after taking out the cats and swapping to the magnaflow cat back. And i have to say i was pretty happy with how it did. She ended up putting down 246hp and 311ft lbs, which mean for those little things it gained about 10 and 10 all across the board. Ill try and see if i can scan the graph later on but im really happy with how she did.

The shop is called horsepower solutions its just off yellowhead and 127th st. Heres a copy of my dyno graph. But ya it was an awesome day, there was a 68 shelby gt500 with the 428 cobra jet but he didnt dyno since it looked like it was gonna rain and he wanted to take the car home. Heres the scan of my new dyno graph, the red was todays run and the green was my previous best.

Nice..I'd like to put mine back on the dyno to see if I made any gains with my hiflows and catback but since I've done other mods as well I wouldn't be able to tell just how much/little the new hiflows and cat back give me. I think once I get the rear end re-geared I'll put her back on to see how much I gained over my stock numbers.

Whaddya mean I dont pay my bills?? Whydya think I'm broke!!

Ya im pretty happy with things especially since its tuned for just 87 octane. Next summer the turbo project will hopefully get put on and im hoping to boost things to about 350hp and 400ft lbs. But ya not much done to the truck that really does much for power, essentially its the exhaust, a k&n intake and the tune, as i dont see the coils as doing much. I would have posted more info about the dyno day but i essentially found out the day before.
