Blower Motor

Yesterday morning I got in my truck to go to work and I hear squeek, squeek, squeek. I thought great a friggin annoying noise. Well in the process of trying to find the squeek I discovered that it is only there when I have the fan on. Doesn't matter what the setting vent, defrost, ac etc..... it's making the same noise again today. I'm thinking there is a bearing or something somewhere that is going. Thoughts? Also I recieved my 1.5" AS in the mail a couple of days ago. The instructions say to smack the spindle with a hammer to break the upper ball joint loose. Is that really good for the spindle? I'm thinking a puller. You guys that installed your own leveling kit, how did you break the ball joint free from the spindle?

Just use a big hammer and the joint will pop. Just make sure you don't completely
remove the ball joint nut. I have done it lots and if you have a problem PM message me.

I had that happen to my truck and they replaced the blower motor, blend door and blend door actuator, and to do that my whole dash was removed.

Brought an old thread back as I have a very loud noise when fan on 3 or higher. I thought is was the blower motor so I got a new one and changed it, no fix, changed resistor still no fix. The noise seems to be coming from the top right dash near defrost exit. Gets to be like a grinding noise when on 3 or higher. Truck is an 08 F150 5.4L.

Any ideas what else?
