how tall is your truck?

Im planning an addition to my garage and need new garage doors. I was wondering what size garage doors you guys have? How tall is your truck with 35's and maybe a 4" lift?

Mine is about 6' in stock form.

thanks

Garage
I have an older truck with 6-7 inch lift and 35" tires...oh, and air horns. I'm glad I put in an 8' high (12' wide) door. The truck just clears. I even had to "tweak" the settings on my garage door opener for an extra 1/2".

My FX4 is about 6'3 seeing as I'm 6'2 and its just a hair taller than me, it fit under the 6'6 parkade door at my old apartment and fits into my garage with roughly the same height opening just fine. Depending on your tire size I would think a stock XLT 4x4 should be more than 6' tall.

I've got 35's and a 5 inch lift and my Expy sits a little over the 7 foot mark without adding in the 3 inches or so for my roof racks. I'd go with an 8 foot door for mine to be safe. Then there is always room for a little more lift down the road.

sounds like an 8' tall door is what I should go for.. that way if i go with a f250 when im done with this one, i'll still be ok.

thanks guys
