Trouble installing 2.5" leveling kit

Hi Everyone,

I tried installing my leveling kit today and had trouble getting the top swing arm to re-connect the the Wheel assembly? (don't know the proper term)

I placed a floor jack under the bottom knuckle of the lower swing arm and tried to raise everything in place so I could re-attach the top nut and all that happened was the frame was lifted off the jack. The strut did not compress at all.

Anyone have any advice on how I get this done, seems a lot of folks have put these spacers on the top of thier strut towers without the issues I am having.

Thanks in advance

4:20 of the video did you do that? Is that what you are having issues with?

It took me 2 hours to do one of mine..then when my brainfart went away it took 10 minutes to do the other side!! And I talked to a friend and he had same issues lol..took him forever to do one, and next one went like a charm

Video? Which video? This sounds like something I really have to see. I would even attempt the job again today, what a great way to spend Farher's Day, putting my leveling kit on my baby!

Amazing what one can do, when they know what they are doing! I love the look of my truck now (in the front) Next task is the 1" blocks in the back.

Thanks for the video suggestion, and I agree, a severe brain fart, never even thought to use a pry bar yesterday.

No pics yet, On the road for a couple of days and then I will get some up.

I have 20" wheels with 275/60 R20 on, comes to 33"

Looks good and is high enough for me. Any higher and it would become a lawn ornament as I could not get into her.
