Leveling Kit Advice 2008 F150

Hi, I have a 2008 F150 super crew 4x4 60th anniversary edition. Id like to put a leveling kit on it to bring up the front end. I was thinking 2.5 inches. I was wondering if anyone knows if there will be any negative side effects of doing this, ie more wear on joints, voided warranty etc??? Also, a buddy mentioned the rear end will squat more under load, like with an ATV in the back. What can be done to keeper stiff in the back end without negatively effecting wear, ride, or warranty? Id like a few suggestions on this with manufacturer names that make kits. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

I've read that a 2" will make it closer to level..the 2.5 is if you have something heavy on the front, such as a winch or bull bar. Don't think it will cause any suspension probs, as for warrenty..probably up to the dealer. The leveling will not make the back end squat..it may appear that the rear is lower due to the fact the front end is now sitting 2" higher. Some people will put add a leaves in the back to help with this. If you google " leveling kits" you will find a chit load. I got my 2" kit from Ebay for 104.00 shipped..There may even be a few in the classifieds on here. Be sure to get an alignment after install and you may have to re-aim your headlights...keep us posted.

we have been installing firestone riderite air bags in the rear and 2"leveling kits in front,it's great having the airbags to level out when loaded.

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

I went with a Rough Country Kit, 2.5 front and 1" blocks for the rear. I aslo ordered the rear shocks from them.

I had to remove the shocks and put stock back on, I found them too soft.

I had a whell allignment done as well.

My truck rides great and looks great.
