easy breezy spark plug change :D

Decided to put in new plugs while waiting for a new tune from VMP :D
40k since last spark plug change (not much but still) and it went smooth as hell. Drove around town for a while then parked the truck, changed into work clothes and went to town. Engine was still pretty warm and the plugs started coming out easy as cake.

pics

Old plugs (ignore the differences in gap size i was testing the "gapping tool" on old plugs)

Testing the "gapping tool" aka vice and wire on old plugs worked like a charm

New ones:

In they go with some anti-seize on the bottom

Love your "gapping tool". That's a way to gitter done after my own heart.Plugs weren't gapped already or are you trying something different? Maybe I'll get brave and crawl under/over and get mine out before it's too cold to work in the driveway.(garage is too full of bikes and boats to even get 150's noose in.) Ogre

hehe i had to do something gapping tool doesnt work on these! Well stock ones are gaped .045 or something but i need .032 or so for the blower, so I had to gap em. How long has it been since they have been changed? I tell ya my first set only had 32000 on the truck and they were creaking... But since i changed them and put antisieze on my last ones..they pulled out easy

been a while since i browsed the forums...
gotta 7.55 lower so should be at around 12# of boost cant wait for the tune to see!
its the 8 rib that mustangs use but it fit on our trucks too
