Spark Plug Change Toronto Area

looking for a recommendation tohave spark plugs changed in the North / East Toronto area. Looking for a mechanic that has done several and will be fair
5.4 l engine

will this be the first time changing the plugs? if so be prepared cause the ford plugs that we got on our trucks are two pc plug and with the carbon build up it will snap in half, it can get expense due to labour per hour. i changed mine about a month ago. about $ 600 and change. maybe too much but i know it got done right. i also went with Champion spark plugs they have a one pc plug. it works fine. part # if intrested is 7989. good luck

spray some penetrating lube like wd40 the night before you change them. This will help with removal and help with not snapping them in half. 1bad4d the champions are the way to go since they are a one peice.

Ford is supposed to have a new updated plug that is a one piece design as well

Champions so far are doing its job there, meecraw. as for an updated plug from ford i spoke to a couple of dealers nothing yet skrwz. keep me posted though if you hear anything.

I have dealt with Redline Performance for 25 years. I have an 07 FX2, 06 CTS, and a 65 Corvette all serviced at Redline. Great tech and fair people. On Sheppard ave E. east of McCowen Rd on the north side. 416-292-4131

Go see Daniel at Heritage Auto .. he is a former mechanic from Heritage Ford.

He opened up shop at Keele south of Lawerence on Ingram Drive.
