Tensioner Pulley Bearings

Just pulled my Tensioner Pulley out of the truck tonight and found that the bearing is shot. Was making a terrible whining sound.....

Does anyone know of a replacement bearing that I can replace the factory original with..... Original Bearing # is J37FE

I'd hate to have to buy the pully and bearing as a complete part, when the pully is still good. All you need to do is press the old bearing out and press in a new one.

If anyone knows a good replacement one, please let me know what the part# is......

Thanks,

I cant imagine your going to find just the bearing. I know when the bearing went on the last tensioner I had to replace, I had to buy the whole thing. If I were you, I would just go buy a new tensioner

VMP and 5-Star tuned no more

Buy a hybrid my truck needs your gas

Well, found that NTN 6203 is the bearing that is the same as the factory. Pressed out the old bearings from the Tensioner and the two idler pulley's today. Pressed in the new ones and going to put everything back together when I get home from work. Alot cheaper than replacing both the pulley and bearings, especially when I did all three and Ford wanted $65 each assembly.

Bearing measurements are:

O.D - 40 mm
I.D - 17 mm
Width - 12 mm

Cheers,

Hey BluByu1986,

Where did you get the NTN 6203 bearing? I just replaced my idler pulley today and it was $70 buck???? WTF? I told the guy hes crazy as i can get the tensioner arm with a pulley for $63. I took the old pulley to work and pushed out the old bearing and it has the same bearing number as yours J37FE. My tensioner pulley sounds rough and from what your sating it has the same bearing as the idler pulleys.
