Help: Rad leak?

2008 F350 6.4 Diesel

Truck was dripping coolant and it was coming down in the driver side wheelwell area. Leaks from engine compartment down the fram e and drips off just behind the tow hook. It was doing this for about 3 weeks. I was adding small amounts of coolant to keep it topped up.

Now that I have some time I was going to search for the leak. Well it stopped leaking. Sweet. I dont trust it for the couple of long road trips I have in the next few weeks.

Rad? Upper hose? something else? Do I just bite the bullet and replace the rad?

through some coolant leak dye in there. when it starts leaking you can find out where it's coming from.

I know it's not leaking right now, so why drop a bunch of money on something that might not be the issue.. ?

Thanks.

I dropped it at the local diesel mechanic. Hopefully a pressure test reveals something. I find it odd it stopped leaking.
