New Grill

Painted my grill today. Had some before shots (or so I thought). It was the chromed outside with the grey colored insides. Looked terrible. Here are a few pics.

I cleaned up the grill then gave it a good wipe down with a Dupli-Color Prep-Wipe. I put on a bunch of coats. Don't really know how many but it took 2 170g rattle cans. I finished it off with a can of clear coat. The paint brand I used was plasti-kote Car Color. I didn't use a primer cause the stock paint had a fairly rough texture. I guess time will tell if it will stick well. Cost less than $25.00 with the tape.

It just pops now. I am really happy with the result.

Thanks. That would probably look good. Maybe next time I get energetic.
