Just curious, has anybody had egr problems with there 6L? Also, is just taking them out and cleaning them good enough or should they be replaced? Ive replaced 2 injectors that were toast and got truck to run perfect, almost. Still hesitation once in awhile. All filters changed ,all sensors checked. Beginning to wonder about this thing. And yes, have had computer uploaded with new software and turbo taken out and checked.

Best thing you can do is delete the egr, ends up causing nothing but problems. Most shops that deal with 6oh performance will sell egr delete kits, or even blocking it is better then nothing

Ya, i just read about something like that this morning, seems like a wise move. Will have to check what they go for $ wise. I cleaned the crud outta the old one but got this funny feeling that a new one is only way to go with these engines ,short of removing completely.

cleaning them is ok as long as that is the problem(have had problems with the position sensor inside of them)and if it is "coked"find whats causing that (misfires, excessive idle times, low eng operating temps).

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

Well, can tell when there is something happening, accelerate to 100kms at half throttle, look in the mirror and see the odd puff of blue exhaust. all injectors check out so wondering if that egr just being a POS.

Just got this truck and invested alot into it, new 18" incubus wheels, toyo open country tires, new rubber flaps with stainless trim, in bed sander and getting boss vblade in fall. Better getter fixed up cuz gonna put her through her paces come next season. By the way, if you look in my pics i posted a picture of it, will take better ones not from a phone, lol
