About lifting the F250

Hi Guys,

i have a question. Is it a better ride when the truck is lifted, worst or no change at all?

And since i'm looking for a F250 2008 with a long box (if it makes a difference??) what tires should i put under and what brand and since i'm in Montreal, who can do the LIFT job here? I dont want a BIG LIFT about 4" is more than enough for me but i kind of like the big tires etc.

Thanks

William!

there just was a thread on this on ford truck world

http://fordtruckworld.tenmagazines.c...st_picksplease

most guys would run a 35x12.5 with that much lift..maybe a 36

this thread will give you some ideas as well

everybody's truck is different when it's lifted. For the most part though, you won't really notice a difference. a good quality lift kit will be a little smoother with the stock tires, but then it gets balanced out by the larger knobby tires, which are always stiffer. the only big difference you'll find is how big your smile is when you drive around

First off, figure out what size tires you want to run, then look for a lift that will clear, on the new 08's, there are guys running 37's with a 2.5" readylift

how much it cost?

How much will it cost (in average) in Canada (around Montreal area) a lift for a truck? Let say 3" or 4"?

thanks

Thanks "Duty Calls" but now seeing actually what a 4" lift looks like, i prefer less than that cause i think 4" is too high...

make sure you know what you want..because a 4" lift may turn in to regret when you want a 6" 5 months later.....i am experiencing that right now

About the warranty on the truck?

Hi guys,

is there any problems with FORD's warranty once the truck is lifted? Will they refuse to do anything on it?

thanks

William!
