1999 Ford F250 Lariat
hey, im lookin at buyin another truck, its a 99 powerstroke 7.3 its got some surface rust that can be fixed, but i noticed there is some pretty good rust in the doors, have any of you faced this and fixed it?
I can't tell you about how hard the ruxt is to fix but I bet that it's at the front bottom of the doors? Thats were they ususally go. That should be a great truck though. I had a 99.5. I put 300,000K on it in 3 years and only did a thermosat O-ring and rear brake pads and maybe a set of batteries (I can't rememeber). Is it an early 99 or 99.5? You can tell by the diesel emblems: the early ones were on the front corner of the fenders and the later ones were the long narrow badges on the doors like the ones they are still using today.
