trailer towing?

Hi there, i have a 05 F-250 and every time i hook up to any trailer
I keep getting a "check trailer" message in the dash. I have a horse trailer and a dump trailer and a regular utility trailer. All the wiring and lighting and brakes are perfect on all the trailers are good. Both the seven pin and four pin connectors on the back of the truck check out good as well. Any ideas how to cure this annoying problem?? Or what I also need to look at?
Thanks
rob

if all your lights are working, it's likely an issue with the electric brake circuit its the heavy (10ga i think) blue wire on the bargman plug. i would start by tracing that one.
