Black soot coming out of new exhaust

Could anyone out there explain this?

I put a 4" turboback exhaust in on Sunday. 3 days later I went under to see if anything was loose and tighten the bolts up and found some black tar-like substance in 2 locations. One where the pipe is connected beneath the passenger's seat and some at the tailpipe.

Is this normal? Is my engine clearing out some soot because the exhaust is less restrictive? Any other ideas? Is this bad?

This pic is the connection beneath the passenger's seat:

This pic is the tailpipe:

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

Thanks shelbyx1. I've cleaned it off a few times and each time it comes back a little less. Hopefully that's all it is.

Inside of the exhast is coated with a oily film for when it is sitting in storage...it'll clean itself out by driving a bit
