Anyone done the EGR delete thing to their 6.0 yet?

Has anyone done the EGR delete thing to their 6.0 yet? Which kit did you use? What kind of difference did it make? I've got one of these kits on my "wish list" for my new to me '05 Dually.

Haven't done it yet but I will within a month. I bought a kit that has intake gaskets, block-off plates and coolant re-routing lines (same as ones on Ebay). This mod is not so much for performance improvements as it is for increasing engine longevity. Specifically, making sure you don't get coolant by-passing the EGR cooler and making it into your cyclinders and the resulting head gasket/head stud failure.

I would like to do it but money is always an issue. What does one cost?

Pricey but probably worth it in the long run.

I really like the idea of the lower egt's. I dropped 50 to 100 when I took out the cat and muffler.
