Alien Patrol winch bumper installed

My new winch bumper finally showed up and here are some install pics

Can you believe they charged me $75 for that skid?

Cleaning out all the mud

The bumper came with impossible to get at bolts

Fixed that by cutting a access hole. The hole will be covered by a plate

The bumper is mounted. The bumper sides went way too far back for my liking. Because i went with a 6" lift and 38's, i needed to trim the stock bumper to get enough clearance and i also needed to cut this one. Bushwacker cut out flares are in the plans soon, so we decided to trim the bumper back to approximately where the flares would line up

Here's how much we decided to trim off

Pieces cut

trimmed. Also note where we had to clearance it to fit around the headlight mounting tabs

Welding

Mounted

The bumper is going to get sandblasted and painted this week, so I will post pics when its finished

I had to trim my stock bumper so i was expecting to trim this one, but i didn't think i need to cut the access hole..thats retarded how they had it.

The bumper will be painted black...also painting grille and headlight pieces black too
