Max Tire Size

Well trading in the F150 on a 2011 SD....But I have a tire question for any of you guys who might have an idea.

Obviously there is going to be a bit of a wait for lift kits on the 2011, but reardless the stock tires gotta go....I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what I guy could get away with on the stock 20" rims (with no rub issues).

I am sure I seen once, a stock looking 2010 SD with 12.5" X 35" 's.....

From looking, I don't think the 2011 has any more or any less room....Do you think 35's will fit?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I am interested in this as well (08 with factory 20"s). The factory delivered the vehicle with 275/65/20 which Goodyear lists as a 34.1. Some posters on other forums say that 35's will fit but it would be nice to hear from some one who has actuall experience.

dont think your gonna 35's on at stock height , I'm lifted 3" and just barely clear, safe would be a 33 or try a 305 series

35's fit but its close may need to trim front valance slightly 05-07 models....

would also depend on what offset you get for the rims.... or if stock rims how wide of tire you go

2007 F350 6.0L Ext cab short box 4x4
2000 F150 5.4L Reg cab short box 2wd

I had the same question earlier this year!

In the spring I installed a set of MT ATZ 35x12.50x20 on my factory 20's.
No leveling kit, lift kit, trimming, etc.
On the road, no rubbing issues at all, even at full lock.
Perhaps they may rub if truck was taken off road, or if you went with a different off set.

Black 06 F-250 CC, 6.0 ltr with Banks TBE, Banks CAI, Edge Juice Platinum w/Attitude, 20" Factory 5 spokes with 35" MT ATZ.

35-12.5 fits stock, but we put 2"spacers in front for better bumper clearance on turns(and it just looks better)

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

Sounds good guys, new truck should be here this week....then new tires for the fall.....I would like to go 35 X 12.5, but would definitely look at narrower 35`s....

Any pics from you guys who installed allready?
