I've replaced a few and I use bearing units from Kaman Bearing, which is a local industrial bearing outfit. They are quality pieces with SKF bearings. Not bad prices compared to factory stuff. Bea ready to buy all the seals which are not cheap...around a 100 bucks a side and you'll need a special tool to install the main seal. I borrowed the tool from a friend who works at the dealership. When you do this job, seriously consider replacing the axle u-joints with greaseable u-joints. This will save you from buying seals twice as the seals are a one time deal. Some places have a seal "kit" like powerstrokeshop.com. I used dealer seals as I needed them right away.

Am I missing something here? The bearings on the 4x's are part of the whole hub assembly. Your looking at about 475 bucks from Ford and get this- about a 1000 bucks from Napa! They come complete with a new ABS wheel sensor with is worth about $100 alone.

that kit is not cheap. been looking at them as well....

for 200-300 you will end up with a cheap replacement, that probaly won`t last....

also as stated before, do the universal(greaseable) while you are there, it will save money down the road....a tool can be made to install seal, unless you can borrow one....

I picked up some parts from rockauto.com

found a 5% discount coupon with quick search on google.ca

prices were cheaper then any local places here.. and you pay taxes which is prepaying brokerage.
worked out I paid about half. then if i were to buy local here.

Forgot to say, not only should you think about changing the u-joints, but ball joints too. Then you basically have a brand new frontend that you can grease and make last much longer than the factory stuff.

balljoints have all been done for the saftey just before i bought it, on the drivers side it already has a greasable u-joint (passengerside doesnt...yet) it has had some work done but the wheel bearings been makeing the dreaded noise and it was hard to hear over the exhaust but now its noticable
