Fuel Economy for 6.7

I am considering purchasing a new King Ranch. Anyone got an accurate reading on their empty highway l/100km with the new 6.7? I can get a full load KR for $16,000 off list. ($8000 delivery allowance, $1000 Costco, $7000 from the dealership) Still seems awful expensive - just shy of $68,000 plus tax. Are people really paying this kind of money for these trucks?

They aren't cheap that's for sure. A friend of mine test drive that exact truck and got a number of $72,000 for it about a month ago

One of the guys I work with bought a loaded KR in the spring. List 81K, bought it for mid 60's. He's got 45,000Km on it, no issues so far. getting about 13L/100km empty. He loves the truck.

I don't know how much money it will make me but I can write it off. Might end up settling for a Lariat. My brother is getting 11.5 L/100 with his '10 Duramax - strictly highway - 100 km/hr and in the summer.

I looked into US prices - list price is $18500 less. Factory discounts ($4500) are not available to Canadians so total discount from dealer off list is about $4500. That's about $23000 off Canadian list. Add to that $2500 importation fees inspections and extra shipping + $1500 exchange. I can get $16000 off list up here. Bottom line: Going south would save me $3000. Is it worth it?
